The Hispanic Contractors Association of the Carolinas names Horack Talley its 2015 "Associate of the Year"

Greg Shelton accepted the 2015 "Associate of the Year" award on behalf of Horack Talley at the Hispanic Contractors Association of the Carolinas Construction Conference and Brilliance Awards Luncheon on Tuesday, July 21.

The ceremony recognized the efforts of members and partners in the following categories: General Contractor of the Year, Trade Contractor of the Year, Remodeler of the Year, Safety Advocate, Associate fo the Year, Partner of the Year, the President’s Awards for Outstanding Service to HCAC and for Outstanding Community Service. Charlotte Mayor Dan Clodfelter provided remarks prior to the beginning of the Brilliance Awards ceremony.

The Hispanic Contractors Association of the Carolinas (HCAC) is a nonprofit organization established to provide the necessary resources to ensure the continued progress of its members while promoting the success of Hispanic-owned construction businesses in the Carolinas. Opened in 2006, the organization today represents more than 1,100 Hispanic construction business owners in the region, offering services such as access to business opportunities, education, networking sessions, business development assistance and advocacy.
