HORACK TALLEY SPONSORS A HABITAT HOUSE TO CELEBRATE 75TH
Charlotte, August 3, 2007:
In honor of our 75th anniversary, Horack Talley is sponsoring and building a Habitat for Humanity house. Construction costs will be underwritten by the firm and firm employees, spouses, and clients will contribute one hundred hours building the home.
Our firm was founded in 1932 by two recent law school graduates who wanted to practice real estate law. Since then, we have grown to 19 shareholders, 24 associates, 31 paralegals, 17 secretaries, and 17 administrative staff. We have a total of 108 employees in 3 locations. We still practice commercial and residential real estate law, but now we have practice groups in litigation, debtor/creditor, and family law as well.
We are building the Horack Talley 75th Anniversary Habitat for Humanity house in order to honor our history as we look forward to continued success and growth.
Our kickoff celebration will be on September 8th. We anticipate working on the house every Saturday in September and October. We are inviting employees, families, friends, and clients to participate with us. If you are interested in helping out, please let us know.
