Four Horack Talley Attorneys Named Best Lawyers by Woodward White Publishing

December, 2007: Four Horack Talley attorneys have been accorded the designation of Best Lawyers® from publishing firm Woodward White.

Tom Cannon, Beth Hodges, Gena Morris, and Tate Sterrett in our Family Law practice group were honored today for their work, by other attorneys in North Carolina and beyond. The Best Lawyers designation is the result of polling done to all attorneys in the region, which asks, "If you could not handle a case yourself, to whom would you refer it?"

Results of the polls are compiled and additional names of excellent attorneys are sought, in a cascading poll that goes on throughout the calendar year beginning in January, According to Woodward White, "While it is true that the lists may at times disproportionately reward visibility or popularity, we remain as confident today as we were twenty years ago that the breadth of our survey, the candor of our respondents, and the sophistication of our polling methodology largely correct for any biases."
