2008 Summer Associates Program
We welcome applicants to next year's summer associates program. At Horack Talley, law students are given the opportunity to work on client projects and to interact with clients under the direction of a mentor attorney. Summer associates participate in many areas of our practice. As a Horack Talley summer associate, you will gain experience in a wide variety of settings: observing hearings, trials, mediations, client meetings, and real estate closings.
As a summer associate you will work closely with your mentor attorney. Your mentor oversees your work and is available for coaching and to answer questions on other aspects of the firm and our practice.
We try to ensure that our summer associates have the opportunity to get to know all the attorneys in the firm before the summer is out, and we plan social events to accomplish that goal. We are also amenable to splitting summers for students who want the opportunity to become familiar with more than one firm.
